Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
Willow Rose Foundation for Diabetes is committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disability. Many people in our community live with vision changes related to diabetes, so accessibility is personal to us.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Measures we've taken include:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper headings and landmarks;
- A "Skip to main content" link on every page;
- Text colour contrast meeting at least a 4.5:1 ratio;
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images;
- Keyboard-navigable menus, links and form controls with visible focus states;
- Readable font sizes and layouts that reflow on mobile devices and when zoomed to 200%;
- Form fields with clear, programmatically associated labels;
- No auto-playing media, flashing content or time limits.
Known limitations
Some third-party content we link to (for example, external registers or social media platforms) may not fully meet accessibility standards. Where possible, we provide the same information in an accessible format on this site.
